The Minicozzi Race Committee, along with the UNICO Scranton Chapter, continue with the timeless tradition of hosting 200 children at the Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA for their annual Christmas party from the funds raised during the 13th annual Capt. James R. Minicozzi Memorial Race, which takes place every year over Labor Day weekend during La Festa Italiana. Every child will be provided with a hot catered meal, refreshments, a warm hooded sweatshirt and jogging pants with the Boys & Girls Clubs logo on them, winter hats, gloves and socks along with other surprises. There will be three hours of festivities including a DJ, a surprise visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus and a craft the children can make and take home with them.
