MUHLENBERG TWP., Pa. – Students put their critical thinking skills to the test at the Berks County Intermediate Unit’s first-ever “Keystone STEM Competition.”
It happened Tuesday morning in Muhlenberg Township.
It’s part of a statewide challenge to help students develop skills in science, technology, engineering and math.
It blends elements of a “hackathon” and “Shark Tank.”
Teams of five students each were given a challenge, and they had to create real-world solutions.
