Richard ‘Rick’ Williams
OBITUARY
Richard Rick Williams, 80, of Clarks Green died at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, on Saturday. He is survived by his partner in life, Wendy Richards.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Hollis and Pearl Singer Williams. Prior to retirement, he was the owner/operator of Williams Industrial Supply. He was an Army Veteran and Scout Master. In addition, he was a member of the Rotary Club of Scranton, Clarks Green Council, Council of Government, and Shade Tree Commission.
Also surviving are two sons, Matthew Williams and his wife Renee, North Abington Twp, and Douglas Williams and his wife Amanda, Clarks Green; grandchildren Luke, Emma, Hollis, and Adelaide Williams; his twin sister Holly Pittluck, Pacific Palisades, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Carol George Erichson.
Friends may pay their respects at Lawrence E. Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit, on Saturday from 1 pm to 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, or the donor’s favorite charity.
