From December 15 through January 17, ECPL is hosting Blizzard of Books, a winter reading challenge for all ages — plus a packed lineup of cozy, creative, and kid-friendly programs happening across library branches throughout Erie County.

❄️ What Is Blizzard of Books?
Blizzard of Books is ECPL’s winter reading challenge for readers of all ages.
Grownups are encouraged to complete the challenge with their kids. By participating, you can model good reading habits for your little ones, and gain some winter enrichment too.

Here’s how Blizzard of Books works:
Pick up a challenge sheet at any ECPL locationComplete six library-related activitiesTurn in your sheet by January 17Each completed sheet = One raffle ticketComplete multiple sheets for more chances to win
Each challenge sheet includes a snowman tracker, and you’ll get a surprise snowman design every time you finish a challenge — a fun bonus kids will love.
