ALLENTOWN, PA. – Lehigh Valley starts a 6-game homestand against the Springfield Thunderbirds Wednesday night.

The Phantoms have played just 9 home games this season, the fewest of any team in the AHL. Conversely, they’ve played the most away games with 16.

They’ve handled it pretty well, entering Wednesday night in 4th place in the division.

John Snowden stated, “We have been on the road a lot. Which I think is a good thing for our team. I think it’s a good thing for us to learn how to battle and grind through this league. It’s not easy. Part of being in the American League is understanding how to take the grind, accept the grind and push through the grind.”
