Syracuse, N.Y. —Syracuse University announced a crowd of 12,258 for a Wednesday night matchup against Mercyhurst at the JMA Wireless Dome.

The figure represents tickets sold for the event.

It was the lowest-attended home game of the season so far.

Syracuse beat Mercyhurst 76-62, controlling the game from opening tap to final buzzer.

Syracuse, which never trailed, put five players in double-figures with JJ Starling leading the way with a season-high 15 points.

Syracuse has averaged 16,333 tickets sold through the first seven home games in the 2025-26 season, a mark that currently ranks sixth in the country.

The Orange will be back at the JMA Dome on Saturday afternoon to face Northeastern at 4 p.m.
