Traffic to be stopped near Cold Springs Rd in and Route 6 in Dickson City for blasting

DICKSON CITY, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Drivers in the area of Cold Springs Road and Business Route 6 should expect brief traffic stoppages this afternoon due to a scheduled blasting operation, local officials announced.

The disruption is expected around 2 p.m. near Commerce Boulevard, directly across from the McDonald’s restaurant. Traffic will be halted in both directions while crews carry out the blast.
