TROY BOROUGH, Pa. (WETM) — A Troy man is wanted on multiple misdemeanor charges after state police said he allegedly assaulted a woman, throwing her into a television and causing injuries.

Troopers are attempting to locate Christian A. Greene, 24, who has a warrant out for his arrest out of Pennsylvania since Dec. 13, as stated in a release from the Pennsylvania State Police. Greene is wanted for simple assault (a grade 2 misdemeanor), harassment – subject other to physical contact, theft by unlawful taking – movable property (a grade 1 misdemeanor), and criminal mischief damage property (a grade 3 misdemeanor), troopers said.

The warrant for Greene’s arrest comes after a Pennsylvania State Police trooper was called to a report of a disturbance at a residence located in Troy Borough around 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13. On the way to the scene, the trooper was notified that the woman inside was texting 911 and explained that it was an active domestic, the release stated.

Upon arrival at the scene, the trooper approached the woman, who was crying and also bleeding from her lip and elbow. When asked questions about what happened, the woman said that she and Greene had gotten into an argument, and he then assaulted her, troopers stated. More specifically, the woman said Greene hit her in the face, arm, and chest multiple times before throwing her into a television, which caused it to break, the release explained. The woman further said that Greene then threw her onto the floor, took her gaming console, and got a ride from a friend to Elmira.

The trooper searched the surrounding area for Greene, but was unsuccessful, the release stated.
