PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania’s James H. Greene, Jr. Head Coach of Men’s Lacrosse, Taylor Wray, has announced his program’s schedule for the 2026 season. The Quakers will play a 13-game schedule that includes six home games, and seven teams that played in the 2025 NCAA Championship are on this year’s docket including the defending champion (Cornell), a semifinalist (Syracuse), and two other quarterfinalists (Georgetown, Princeton).

2026 Penn Men’s Lacrosse Schedule

“I am excited about our 2026 schedule,” said Wray, who was hired at Penn in July after a highly successful 14-year stint at Saint Joseph’s. “This program has a tradition of playing against the best and I was eager to continue that. Our non-conference schedule will be great preparation for Ivy League play, and I know our guys are pumped to get going. There are some big challenges on this year’s schedule, but I believe that our team will be ready to meet them.”

The 2026 men’s lacrosse schedule includes three doubleheaders with the Penn women: Saturday, Feb. 14 (men vs. Georgetown/women vs. Drexel); Saturday, Feb. 21 (men vs. Delaware/women vs. Johns Hopkins); and Saturday, April 4 (men vs. Cornell/women vs. Harvard) which will be the annual Alumni Day for both programs.

The 2025 men’s lacrosse schedule opens with Penn playing four of its first five games at home. The Hoyas come to Franklin Field for the opener on Valentine’s Day, and one week later the Quakers host the Blue Hens. Those games sandwich a midweek road trip to UAlbany, one of four non-conference opponents to play in the postseason last year.

As February turns into March, Penn continues its homestand with a weekend of ACC play as North Carolina (Friday, Feb. 27) and Syracuse (Sunday, March 1) come to Franklin Field. The Quakers’ matchup with the Orange will be the first between these programs since 2002.

Penn stays local the following weekend, hitting the Main Line to take on Villanova in the latest installment of the Farrell Cup, before opening Ivy League play with Harvard on Saturday, March 14. The Red and Blue are on the road for their next two Ivy games, at Yale and Dartmouth, before returning home to face the defending champion Big Red in the final home game of the campaign. The regular season ends with Ivy League road trips to Princeton and Brown, before Penn takes advantage of its Ivy bye week with a neutral-site matchup against UMass on Long Island.

This year’s Ivy League Tournament will take place on Friday, May 1 and Sunday, May 3 at the home of the regular-season champion.
