If you’ve already had enough snow and freezing weather, here’s something to look forward to:
Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom announced a May 8 opening date for the theme park in 2026, according to a news release. Wildwater Kingdom will open May 23.
Details on 2026 events will be announced early in the new year.
The complex in South Whitehall Township has more than 60 rides, shows and attractions. Iron Menace debuted in 2024. It’s the northeast region’s first “dive” roller coaster, a coaster with at least one totally vertical drop. The coaster’s 21-seat car reaches speeds of up to 64 mph.
Wildwater Kingdom features multiple water slides, a wave pool and kiddie areas.
The park’s former owner, Cedar Fair, merged with Six Flags in 2024.
The park opened in 1884.
