A teenager has died after being hit by a vehicle in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood, officials confirmed to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4.According to officials, the crash happened around 2:50 p.m. near Brownsville Road and Woodford Avenue. Police say the vehicle was driving down Brownsville Road when it began to slide, hitting a pole.That vehicle then continued to slide before hitting a 17-year-old girl who was standing on the sidewalk.The teenager was taken to a hospital in critical condition, but was later pronounced dead. Officials say the driver remained on the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
