SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Santa didn’t need reindeer to get around Scranton this year, just a little help from local first responders.
For its annual tradition, the Scranton Fire Department and the Pennsylvania State Police escorted Santa to 11 different locations as part of their 2025 Sidewalk Santa event.
Families who tracked Santa’s Electric City route were treated to special bags filled with goodies.
The Sidewalk Santa tour helped kick off Christmas a little early, with the tour starting at 11 a.m. and wrapping up with its final stop at 4 p.m.
Santa was also transported on his trolley from the Gilbride Limousine.
