A Pittsburgh-area Marine could spend up to 24 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl multiple times earlier this year.VIDEO: Decorated marine Brandon Rumbaugh accused of raping girl in court, June 2025 Our news partners at the Trib reported that Brandon Rumbaugh, 36, of Pleasant Hills, pleaded guilty to nine criminal counts. Charges included sexual assault, statutory sexual assault, and indecent assault of a person under the age of 16.The Trib said court records showed that prosecutors withdrew 17 of the 21 counts against Rumbaugh of possessing child sexual abuse material.Officials also withdrew two counts of indecent assault, and one count each of corruption of minors and providing alcohol to a minor. On various charges, Rumbaugh was sentenced to a total of eight to 24 years in prison, in addition to three years of probation.
