Divine Mercy Parish, Scranton, was the setting Saturday for the wedding of Elizabeth Corbett, Philadelphia, formerly of Scranton, and Conor Walsh, Philadelphia.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Patricia Corbett, Scranton. The bridegroom is the son of David and Liz Walsh, Havertown, formerly of Scranton.

The Rev. Michael Bryant and the Rev. Paul McDonnell officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.

Cara Browning, Philadelphia, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Carolyn Baker, Scranton, cousin of the bride; Megan Owens, Scranton, cousin of the bride; Anna Vandegriff, New York City, cousin of the bride; Susan Occhipinti, Washington, D.C., cousin of the bride; Haileigh Finnerty, Philadelphia, cousin of the bride; and Kielty Eriksson, Stockholm, Sweden, sister of the bridegroom.

Vera Renfroe, Philadelphia, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Ushers were Matt Walsh, Philadelphia, brother of the bridegroom; Daniel Walsh, Chicago, Ill., brother of the bridegroom; Chris Corbett, Scranton, brother of the bride; Andrew Moran, Scranton, cousin of the bridegroom; Pat Mintzer, Havertown; Nick Chambers, Philadelphia; and Eric Lee, Havertown.

A reception was held at Radisson at Lackawanna Station Hotel, Scranton.

Elizabeth grew up in Minooka, graduated from Scranton High School and West Chester University and earned a master’s degree in school counseling from the University of Scranton. She works as an elementary school counselor at the School District of Haverford Twp.

Conor grew up in Havertown, graduated with a degree in marketing from Villanova University and works as a technical sales rep for SPS Clean Tech in Philadelphia.

The couple met McGillin’s Pub in Philadelphia.

The couple resides in Philadelphia.
