Modesto “Tony” Serrano-Soto
OBITUARY
Modesto “Tony” Serrano-Soto, 73, passed away in his home in Reading, PA, on Monday, December 15, 2025.
He was born in Yabucoa, PR, to the late Modesto Serrano Torres and Felicita Soto Carrasquillo.
He was a simple man who enjoyed cooking, helping in his community center and especially loved his puppy, Tonita.
He will be missed by his loving family, including his five children, Melissa Gonzalez, wife of Steve Figueroa, Melanie Serrano, Rosalie Serrano, Anthony Serrano, and Xiomara Serrano. His five grandchildren, Jory, Xavier, Madison, Gigi, and Sofia.
His sisters Celia Alvarez, Dominga Serrano and Carmen Serrano, and his brother, Angel Serrano-Soto.
As well as countless cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Julia Gonzalez and Iris Velez, and his brother, Ignacio Serrano-Soto.
A memorial service will be held Monday, December 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Henninger Funeral Home, Inc., 229 N. Fifth St., Reading, PA.
