Amid growing fear, uncertainty and concern over immigration enforcement practices nationwide, local civil rights and community organizations have come together to protect the constitutional rights of residents in Crawford and Erie counties.
The Meadville chapter of the NAACP, French Creek Indivisible, Crawford County United and Erie County United have jointly established the Crawford County Rapid Response Network to monitor and document Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other federal actions that may violate constitutionally protected rights.
