PennDOT maintenance crews will work on more than 20 road projects across Northampton County this week, with lane restrictions and flagging operations affecting multiple municipalities from Monday, Dec. 22 through Friday, Dec. 26.

The work includes crack sealing, pothole patching, and other maintenance activities scheduled between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. All projects are subject to delays if rain occurs, according to PennDOT.

Starting Dec. 22, crews were expected to start sealing cracks on Broadway in Bethlehem between Route 378 and Fiot Avenue with flagging operations. Lane restrictions with flagging will affect West Bangor Road in Upper Mount Bethel Township between Garibaldi Avenue and Valley View Drive through Dec. 23.

Pothole patching was scheduled to take place starting Dec. 22 on Airport Road in East Allen Township between Orchard Lane and Nor-Bath Boulevard. Additional patching work is scheduled for Dec. 23-24 on Monocacy Drive in Moore Township between Northampton Street and Mountain View Drive, and Dec. 26 on Route 329 in East Allen Township between Airport Road and Seemsville Road. All pothole patching operations will include lane restrictions with flagging.

Crack sealing continues Dec. 23-24 on Apple Butter Road/Lower Saucon Road in Bethlehem and Lower Saucon Township between Pembrooke Road and Route 412, with lane restrictions and flagging in effect. On Dec. 26, crews will seal cracks on South 25th Street in Palmer Township between Northampton Street and Freemansburg Avenue.

Other maintenance work without restrictions will occur Dec. 24 on Main Street in Stockertown Borough and Belvidere Road in Lower Mount Bethel Township. Work continues Dec. 26 on Route 512 in Wind Gap and Mount Pleasant Road in Lower Mount Bethel Township.

Several locations will have lane restrictions with flagging, including Route 412 in Lehigh Township starting on Dec. 22, Route 946 in Upper Nazareth Township on Dec. 23, and Main Street in Chapman Borough on Dec. 24 and 26.
