An Easton city councilman has organized a donation drive for the victims of a fire last week.

Councilman Frank Pintabone says one child hurt in the fire remains at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Township.

The fire on Thursday, Dec. 18, has rendered two attached homes uninhabitable in the 300 block of Williams Street.

Two adults and four children were displaced, Pintabone said.

“They lost everything,” he said.

He’s looking for gift card donations of any amount from stores such as Target, Walmart and Wawa.

You can drop off the gift cards Monday and Tuesday at the mayor’s office on the third floor of City Hall, 123 S. Third St. in Easton.

Pintabone isn’t looking for cash. Nor is he looking for clothes because the families don’t have anywhere to store them.

If you want to donate something after Tuesday or have any follow-up questions, you can reach Pintabone at fpintabone@easton-pa.gov.
