Students in New Jersey will likely be forced to put their phones down during school hours.
A bill requiring ‘K-to-12’ ‘public schools’ to create ‘cell phone restriction policies’ for students cleared both the state Senate and General Assembly.
That measure now heads to Governor Phil Murphy’s desk to be signed into law.
Murphy says he’ll do that before he leaves office next month.
