Sheetz has been presenting Cantatas for more than 38 years, the last 23 at Trinity. Her love for music holds a special place in her heart.
She started playing the organ at age 15, starting her career at Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church in Pottstown under the tutelage of Willis Bridegam, advancing later to Gordon Bauerle.
She said she has many fond memories of all the different churches where she played all around Berks and Montgomery counties and the choirs she accompanied. She played at weddings and funerals for several classmates, family and friends.
An encore performance will be presented on Jan. 4 at 3 p.m. at Trinity, 1749 S. Main St., Bechtelsville.
