A Delaware County woman has been charged with murder for allegedly stabbing her own daughter to death inside their home.

Diana Grovola, 57, is charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder, criminal homicide and possession of an instrument of crime.

The crime was discovered around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of South Bishop Avenue in the Secane section of Upper Darby Township.

Investigators say the victim’s father – who is also Grovola’s husband – was working an overnight shift. He came home, discovered the crime scene, and called 911.
