Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday morning in Claymont.
Shortly before 10 a.m. on Christmas Eve, troopers responded to a report of a holdup at Darley Pharmacy, 111 Darley Road in Claymont.
Troopers said:
The preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown white male suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the register.
The employee complied, and during the robbery, the suspect demanded a customer’s property. The customer also complied, and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and property. No one was hurt.
