The fire broke out shortly after 3:30 Saturday afternoon at 1212 Industrial Drive.
Redus Auto Repair is listed for that address.
Multiple crews from Erie, Millcreek and Fairview were on the scene.
The smoke could be seen from miles away.
Millcreek Township Fire Chief Michael Cliff told Erie News Now, “that the roof of the building did collapse and crews were ordered to investigate”.
One Firefighter was taken to the hospital for treatment according to officials.
A witness and business owner across the street from the Complex told Erie News Now, “a fire official told him a welding accident could have started the fire.”
Several crews remain on the scene.
