Upper Darby erased a 4-point halftime deficit and locked in defensively, outscoring host Sacred Heart Academy by 10 over the final two quarters to claim a 32-26 win in the championship game of the Mimi Miner Holiday Tournament.
Mia Wilson was named tournament MVP for the Royals. After scoring 22 points in the opener Saturday, she followed with five points, three steals and two assists against Sacred Heart.
Janay Haye posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Rebecca Jean-Baptiste added nine points and 11 boards and earned all-tournament team honors.
Megan Donahoe led Sacred Heart with 14 points, and Dani Jeffries chipped in nine.
Garnet Valley 53, Episcopal Academy 47 >> The Jaguars captured the title at their annual holiday tournament behind Kylie Adamski, who was named MVP after finishing with 16 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Amanda Bilson contributed 14 points and was selected to the all-tournament team. Ryann Razzano and Regan Leydig scored six points apiece.
Marple Newtown 38, Central Bucks West 26 >> Tigers coach Ryan Wolski earned his 100th career win as Olivia Gicking posted 14 points and nine rebounds to take home MVP honors of the Marple Newtown Holiday Tournament. Rowan Hilden recorded 10 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks, while Taylor Murrin added four points, seven rebounds and three assists.
Cardinal O’Hara 60, Conestoga 35 >> The Lions caught fire from beyond the arc, knocking down 11 3-pointers on the opening day of their holiday tournament. Meg Rullo led the way with 12 points, BrigidAnne Donohue added 11, and Catie Doogan and Leah Hudak finished with nine points each.

Archbishop Carroll 53, Central Bucks East 33 >> Sisters Alexis and Kayla Eberz powered the Patriots (4-4). Alexis finished with 16 points and 15 rebounds, Kayla scored 16, and Abbie McFillin added nine points, 10 rebounds and four assists.
Academy Park 68, Freire Charter 54 >> The Knights used a strong second half, outscoring Freire Charter 42-25 after trailing by three at halftime. Saiya Hooper led five Academy Park players in double figures with a game-high 25 points. Shaniyah Hopkins scored 12, Sianna Perkins had 11, and Carly Fleming and Angel Davis added 10 apiece.
Pope John Paul II 40, Bonner & Prendergast 39 >> Skylar Rothley and Kayla Epps scored 13 points each, but the host Pandas came up just short against the Golden Panthers.

Mikey Mita posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds as Penncrest held Parkland to 30 percent shooting after halftime in a 43-41 nonleague win Saturday night.
Sean Benson and Connor Cahill chipped in eight points apiece for the Lions (8-2).
Garnet Valley 45, Mount Pleasant (Del.) 23 >> Mason Koperna and Grayson Golek scored 10 points each as the Jaguars took care of business in the opener of their holiday tournament.
Cardinal O’Hara 79, Bishop Shanahan 51 >> DJ Jones led the charge for the Lions with 23 points, Jack Quinn added 15, and Gabe Skehan finished with 11.
Harrisburg 76, Upper Darby 49 >> Artemus Sirleaf scored 20 points as the Royals fell in the championship game of the McCaskey Holiday Tournament. Tahli Murray had nine points and earned all-tournament team honors.
