TOWN OF WEBB, New York (WWNY) – A Pennsylvania woman was injured early Saturday morning when her snowmobile struck a tree on a trail in the town of Webb, New York State Police said.
According to New York State Police, Kristin R. Millington, 42, of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, was operating a 2023 Ski-Doo snowmobile traveling west on Trail #8 at approximately 2:20 a.m. when she struck a tree on the north shoulder.
Millington was ejected from the snowmobile and sustained non-life-threatening injuries, state police said. She was transported by Old Forge Ambulance to Wynn Hospital for treatment.
State police issued Millington a ticket for imprudent speed, returnable to the town of Webb Court.
The Old Forge Fire Department assisted with a UTV and transported state police members to the scene.
