UTICA, N.Y. — Registration for the Boilermaker’s Erie Canal Races will kick off with a special New Year’s Resolution discount.
Boilermaker officials announced that starting Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, at midnight, runners can register for any of the Erie Canal Races for just $26 until Sunday, Jan. 4, at 11:59 p.m.
The event includes a 10-mile race, a two-person 10-mile relay, and a 5K race set for May 17.
All races will begin and end at the Whitesboro High School track, with routes primarily along the scenic Erie Canal Trail.
Participants who sign up by Sunday, May 3, 2026, will receive a commemorative t-shirt and a finisher’s medal.
The event will cap registration at 550 runners across all races.
