LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Numerous ZIP codes in Lower Merion Township are among the region’s wealthiest, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

Data gathered from the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey for the five-county Philadelphia region in southeastern Pennsylvania shows seven Lower Merion areas have some of the highest household incomes in the region.

Lower Merion’s wealthiest neighborhood is Gladwyne (19035), which data shows has an average annual household income of $452,627. That’s the wealthiest ZIP code in the region, too.

Nearby in Villanova (19085), the average annual household income is $448,670, data shows.

Merion Station (19066) has an average annual household income of $294,125, and Haverford (19041) has an average of $266,516.

Over in Wynnewood (19096), data shows the average annual household income is $248,314, and Bryn Mawr’s (19010) is $222,530

And lastly, Bala Cynwyd (19004) touts an average annual household income of $207,686, per census data.
