SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A museum in Lackawanna County is proving “there ain’t no party like a Scranton Party.” Every week, hundreds of people travel from all over the world to see The Office-themed exhibit at the Everhart Museum.
The museum worked with NBC to bring in actual artifacts, props, and costumes from the popular show. It’s raised attendance and awareness for other exhibits at the Everhart as well.
Rain, freezing rain expected for Sunday in PA
“Been a fan since the beginning. Love the show, have watched it over and over again, and it brings a lot of laugh and joy to me and my son. We watch it together,” Visitor Harris Gubin explained.
The Office-themed exhibit opened about two months ago and will remain open for two years.
If you’ve already visited the exhibit, make sure to return again soon, because props will be added and adjusted in a few months.
