Pennsylvania State Trooper struck by vehicle while investigating crash

BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A Pennsylvania State Trooper was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle Monday afternoon.

According to State Police, the Trooper was investigating a two-vehicle crash at the US-422 exit from I-79 North in Butler County when a vehicle hit them.

The Trooper was rushed to the hospital, where they are reportedly in stable condition, PSP said. The driver of the vehicle that hit the Trooper stayed at the scene.
