WYOMISSING, Pa. — Wyomissing Borough Council has finalized its 2026 budget.
The budget passed with a 6-1 vote during a special meeting Monday night.
It includes a 17.7% tax increase.
That’s down from the initially-proposed 22% tax hike. The budget with the 22% increase was voted down earlier this month after a packed meeting and strong pushback from residents.
Borough officials say additional cuts allowed them to lower that number.
