READING, Pa. – Reading is planning to welcome the new year with a bang.
The city will set off a fireworks display on New Year’s Eve set to begin at 9:30.
Officials say that’s a family-friendly time for people to celebrate.
If you tune in to WEEU on your radio, you’ll hear a musical soundtrack to accompany the celebration.
The city is also reminding everyone that setting off unpermitted fireworks within 150 feet of a building is illegal and dangerous.
