Gregory Garman
OBITUARY
Gregory Walter Garman is survived by his partner of 49 years, Phyllis A. Greenberg Murr, M.D.; his daughter, Jessica E. Garman; her partner, Tyler C. Brown; and grandchildren Julian and Elliott Garman-Brown, of whom he was deeply proud. He was predeceased by his sister, Kathleen A. Garman, and his parents, Catherine (Rapak) Garman and Elmer Garman, Jr.
Born in 1952 in Reading, PA, Greg overcame polio in early childhood and went on to earn degrees from Albright College and the Wharton Business School. He worked in medical administration before founding Green Hills Enterprises, an IT security firm he ran solo for over 25 years. He was a voracious reader, enthusiastic cook, and passionate genealogist.
A funeral will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington. Visitation at 10:30 a.m., service at 11:30 a.m.
