The first of two new Wingstop locations in Erie County is now open.
The chicken wing chain based in Garland, Texas, which now has more than 2,000 restaurants worldwide, opened its first Erie location on Dec. 26, according to Facebook.
The new location at 5043 Peach St, Unit A-12, sits in the same plaza as Dollar General, LA Weight Loss, UPMC GoHealth Urgent Care, Erie Donut Factory and other businesses.
Millcreek planning and development director Matt Waldinger told the Erie Times-News that the new Wingstop location once housed a Jimmy John’s and Coney Island of Erie Diner.
“Erie, the flavor has landed,” the Wingstop franchise posted on Facebook on Dec. 26. “The new Wingstop location at 5043 Peach St. is now open.”
What to expect from the new Wingstop
When Erie customers stop into Wingstop for a bite to eat, the website shows customers can expect 14 different flavors of wings ranging from no heat to “all the heat,”

What are the Wingstop hours in Erie?
At the new location on Peach Street, the Wingstop will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Status on the Wingstop in Harborcreek Township
A second Wingstop is currently being built in Harborcreek Township on Buffalo Road near Planet Fitness.

A new Wingstop location is under construction in Habrorcreek Township on Dec. 29. The new location will be at 4500 Buffalo Road near Smoker Friendly and the UPS Store.

Township officials have not received any updates on the opening of this location. On Dec. 29, construction was still being done to the interior of the location.
