OBITUARY
Elizabeth “Betty” Penzone, passed away Christmas morning in the Elan Nursing and Skilled Rehabilitation Center after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was the widow of Joseph P. Penzone who passed away in 2023.

Surviving are children, Sandy Gaul and her husband, Tim; Joseph Penzone and his wife, Karen; and Lisa Bailey and her husband, Will; grandchildren, Casey, Matthew, Isabella, Vincent, Brianna, Alana, William and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Aria, Ryder and William; Sisters Marian and her husband Richard Dombroski, Margaret and her husband Richard Bonacci, Loretta and her husband Russ Cowher, Theresa Chubb, Patty and her husband Joseph Kandrot, Carol Histed and Debbie and her husband Rod Brown; sister in law, Mary Lou Richardson and husband, Chris; nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Marion Mark, her brother and sister in law, Joseph and Linda Mark and brother in law, Kevin Chubb.
All attending the funeral are asked to go directly to the church.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated today, Tuesday, December 30 at 11 AM in St. Patrick’s Church 1403 Jackson St. Scranton.
Friends may call this morning from 10 AM until the time of mass in the church.
Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
