Every day, our staff bring their best selves to help foster a caring, safe environment for residents navigating complex health needs and co-occurring disorders,” DHS Secretary Dr. Val Arkoosh said. “I am so proud of South Mountain Restoration Center’s hard work and dedication to our residents that has led to them being recognized as a top nursing home in the country.”

The South Mountain Restoration Center is a 159-bed long-term care facility that serves people with a history of serious mental illness and other behavioral health needs who may have previously received care at a state hospital or have been incarcerated.
