An Olyphant man sent a message to a group on Snapchat that he wanted to bomb a school
THROOP, Pa. — A Lackawanna County man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly threatening to bomb Abington Heights School District.
Michael Justin McCauley, 20, of Olyphant, sent a Snapchat message to a group Monday saying that he wanted to bomb the school, said Throop police.
When a group member asked, “why” McCauley said he needed to move on and “the only way to move on is to murder them in mass numbers,” according to the complaint.
McCauley is charged with terroristic threats and harassment. Bail and preliminary hearing information was unavailable.
