READING, Pa. – Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a homicide in Reading.

“We had a homicide that occurred on Dec. 24 or Dec. 25,” said Berks County District Attorney John Adams.

Investigators are scouring through several rooms and searching for evidence inside 324 West Greenwich St.

“It’s clear to us that there was foul play involved in this incident. That goes without question,” Adams said.

The victim has been identified as Tristan Hightower. His cause of death has yet to be determined.

“Our investigation to this point has shown that numerous people stayed at this residence, generally paying the landlord to stay there, and many of these individuals were considered homeless,” Adams said.

Police are now trying to piece together who frequented the home and who may have information.

“It’s clearly a homicide, and we need the public’s help, as we need to find out who was is responsible for this unfortunate death,” Adams said.

Anyone who has information is asked to contact the police, the DA’s office, or Crime Alert Berks County.
