Restaurants closed in 2025 in Berks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties

All remaining locations of Iron Hill Brewery closed in 2025. Restaurants featuring the popular brews were in Exton, Hershey, Lancaster, Lehigh Valley, Media, Newtown, North Wales, Philadelphia and West Chester.

Iron Hill Brewery property owner in West Chester seeks new tenant

Pica’s Restaurant, 7803 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, Delaware County, closed in the summer. In 1956, the restaurant moved from 62nd and Race in West Philly to 7803 West Chester Pike in Upper Darby.

Restaurant Blackbird, Penn Avenue, West Reading, Berks County, closed after just a few months, while a longtime West Reading staple, G.N.A Ristorante, 421 Penn Ave., closed in July.

Grumpy’s Handcarved Sandwiches, 137 E. High St., Pottstown, Montgomery County, closed Dec. 23 after a huge church fire at Chestnut and North Hanover streets damaged the owners’ family home next door.
