PennDOT maintenance crews will conduct bridge repairs, crack sealing and brush cutting on state roads across Lehigh County from this week, with motorists advised to expect lane restrictions and delays.

The work will affect roads in Lower Milford, Lynn, North Whitehall, Upper Macungie, Lower Macungie, Upper Milford townships and Emmaus Borough. All projects are scheduled for daytime hours between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., and rain is not expected to cause delays.

In Lynn Township, crews will repair bridges on Route 309 between Memorial Road and Mountain Road on Wednesday and Friday.

Crack sealing operations will span multiple locations. Hamilton Boulevard will see crack sealing work in Lower Macungie and Upper Macungie townships on Wednesday and Friday, with the Friday work including flagging operations.

Additional crack sealing is scheduled to continue on Spinnerstown Road and Zionsville Road in Lower Milford Township on Friday. Kings Highway and Vera Cruz Road will also receive crack sealing on Wednesday and Friday.

Crews will also clear brush on Old Post Road between Routes 329 and 873 on Wednesday and Friday.

The free 511PA service is available 24 hours a day and provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. The service is also available through a smartphone app for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following local alerts on X.
