Temperatures will remain cold as we ring in the new year. New Year’s Eve is an Impact Day with a few snow showers this morning but the widespread, accumulating snow will start to roll in parts of the area as early as 3 p.m.

Low visibility and slick road conditions will be an issue if you’re heading out this evening to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The heaviest of snow is expected after 6pm and continue into early Thursday morning.
