Blue Marsh Lake’s 7th annual Trees for Fishes collection is underway.
Christmas trees dropped off through Jan. 12 will be recycled and placed in the lake along the shoreline for aquatic habitat enhancement and other wildlife habitat resources.
Drop-off locations are at the State Hill Boat Ramp, 599 Brownsville Road, Lower Heidelberg Township, and the Sheidy Boat Ramp, 5998 Bernville Road, Penn Township.
Trees must be clean of all decorations, including tinsel, fake snow and garland; paint; and chemical treatments.
Yard waste and clippings will not be accepted.
