• Mike Maloney of Riverside threw for 184 yards and two touchdowns as No. 2-ranked Mount Union broke free of host Heidelberg in the second half en route to a 38-6 win Oct. 18.
The Purple Raiders led, 14-6, at halftime but outscored the Student Princes, 21-0, in the third quarter.
Maloney threw a 1-yard touchdown to Wyantt Stiehl and a 5-yard scoring strike to Kayden Minner in the third quarter to make it 21-6. Maloney also ran for 34 yards on two attempts.
Mount (6-0) next plays Ohio Northern at home Oct. 25 at 1:30 p.m.
• Walsh University quarterback Cole Norris of Amherst ran for two touchdowns and threw for another as the visiting Cavaliers held on for a 20-13 win over Lake Erie College.
Norris ran 8 yards for a score in the first quarter but the Storm (1-6) answered with two Enrique Olmos field goals that cut the lead to 7-6 late the third quarter.

The Cavaliers (5-2) took a 13-6 lead on a Norris-to-Jake Gill 10-yard score late in the third, then Norris scored on a 3-yard run for a 20-6 advantage early in the fourth.
Brady Clark’s 10-yard scoring pass to Keyshawn Johnson made it a seven-point game at 20-13 but LEC could not get the equalizer.
Norris finished the game 16 of 16 passing for 151 yards and no interceptions and had 35 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Clark was 23 of 35 for 262 yards.
The Storm next plays at Hillsdale Oct. 25 at 2:30 p.m.
• Baldwin Wallace improved to 5-1 on the season with a dominant 52-20 win over visiting Rose-Hulman.
The Yellow Jackets led, 31-0, at halftime thanks to the play of quarterback Charlie Bubonics and running back George Linberger. Bubonics threw 181 yards and four touchdown passes in the first half, and Linberger gained 94 yards on 12 carries and scored a touchdown. Bubonics finished 16 of 22 for 232 yards and six touchdown passes.
