About a month after serving a Thanksgiving lunch, a local mission will be serving a Christmas meal.
The Erie City Mission will be hosting a Christmas lunch on Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 11:30 a.m. for around 350 people.

Guests will be served by staff and volunteers of the mission, reflecting the mission’s goal of “serving each guest with dignity and honor,” according to the press release.
Brian Johansson, the CEO of the mission, knows that the Christmas season can be difficult for many. “The Erie City Mission exists to be a family to those without one—a place of hope and belonging,” he said.
This just goes to show that the mission sees its guests “not as visitors, but as members of the Mission family,” according to the press release.
