READING, Pa. – Next week, the City of Reading will host an inauguration ceremony for incoming members of Reading City Council.
The ceremony will take place Monday at noon at the Schmidt Training and Technology Center on the campus of Reading Area Community College.
Council members for districts one, four, five and the council president will take the oath of office.
Raymond Baker is the only newly elected member.
He replaces Wesley Butler, who became the youngest member in council history at age 20.
Butler did not seek reelection.
