DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — On Saturday afternoon, Tom Hesser Nissan held its first yearly trunk or treat event.
Over 200 kids came to the car dealership throughout the event to get candy, jump in the bouncy house, and compete in a costume contest with first prize winning a Nintendo switch 2.
Inflatable dinosaurs, spooky ringleaders, and kids in all kinds of costumes ran around and had fun two weeks before the big day. The managers said they had fun celebrating early too.
“I think everybody had a great time today. That was the most important thing to have fun,” said general manager Mike Wilson.
“Yeah, most important thing. Everybody had fun, you know, it’s a great great great day for the kids,” followed sales manager Albert Lopez.
The staff said that the store’s inaugural trunk or treat was a success and that they cannot wait to make it a yearly tradition.
