Employees of Gentex Corp., Simpson, recently donated $4,000 to Serving Seniors Inc. to enhance the services the agency provides to older adults. The Work Place Presence Committee, which holds events for Gentex employees throughout the year, donates the money raised to the employee-selected charity of choice. Serving Seniors Inc. serves counties in Northeast and Central Pennsylvania through its long-term-care Ombudsman Program and Guardianship Services. The agency also offers a Patient Advocate Program, serving older adults recently discharged from hospitals in Lackawanna County.
