BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh County Coroner’s office says that two victims of a suspected murder-suicide were found in a Bethlehem home Friday night, both of whom had suffered apparent gunshot injuries.Â
The incident happened in the 200 block of 10th Avenue at approximately 10:45 p.m..
The Coroner says a 39-year-old woman was found deceased at the scene and pronounced dead at 11:22 p.m..
A 42-year-old male, who was in the same residence, was found suffering from gunshot wounds and transported to St.Luke’s University Hospital. He was later prounounced dead at 11:39 p.m.
Autopsies for both victims are scheduled for Monday.
The Coroner’s office, the City of Bethlehem Police Department, the Lehigh County Homicide Task Force, and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s office are investigating.
The Coroner says both victims have been identifed however names will not be released until autopsies have been completed.
