An early morning fire in the Moosic on Saturday displaced one man, but he was not injured.
Firefighters responded to 2 Joyce St. just before 6 a.m. and found the home fully engulfed, according to Moosic Fire Chief Chief Chuck Molinaro.

The resident of the home woke up to find his house on fire and ran to a nearby fire station to report the blaze.
But, by the time he got to the station, others had already reported the fire and firefighters were arriving to fight the blaze.
“The fire was well progressed and 100% involved upon our arrival,” Molinaro said.
The fire marshal was called to investigate, but Molinaro anticipated the cause of the fire would be ruled accidental.
The displaced resident was assisted by a neighbor and has a safe place to stay, Molinaro said.
Neighbor reacts to flames
Neighbor Shelley Sica woke up at about 6 a.m. to her dog barking.
She jumped out of bed, looked out her bedroom window, and saw flames.
“I yelled to my sister that there was a fire in the woods, not knowing it was a house fire,” Sica said.
Sica immediately called 911.
When fire crews arrived, she watched as they worked to put out the fire.
As of 11 a.m. Saturday, fire crews remained at the scene.
