1 person dead in Kutztown shooting, police chief says | Northern Berks County

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Police were on the scene of a fatal shooting in Kutztown, Berks County, Tuesday night.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene shortly after 8:30 p.m. in the 400 block of West Walnut Street.

Kutztown Police Chief Michael Clery told 69 News that someone was fatally shot in the residence. No other details have been released.

Clery said borough police are working with the county on the investigation into the killing.
