A woman remains in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in West Homestead Thursday evening. Allegheny County police said after 6:30 p.m., officials were notified of a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian within the 500 block of West 7th Avenue. Officials said when they arrived on scene, they found an adult woman with injuries. She was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition. Preliminary information showed that the victim was crossing West 7th Avenue when she was struck. The driver remained on scene and cooperated with detectives.An investigation is now underway.
